GTX rating in Form View screen
User question: Can I see the historical GTX rating, like say I would see the historical WPR or Trakform rating in the form view?
TRB Response: The GTX rating is different to the other ratings in that it is a neural algorithm that assesses a horse in a particular race based on many variables. The top-rated horse gets a value of 60 in every race, and the others work down from there. It isn't a measure that assigns a performance rating to each run, so there is no historical value to show. Instead, it relies on other historical data against a horse to assess its chances in the upcoming race.
Because it works on a top rater of 60 in each race and down from there, it would be pointless showing that figure in the form as it has no relevance to what the horse did in the race, only how it was assessed pre-race.
